I am a feminist, Chicago-based photographer whose love of creating accessible arts and crafts began at the age of nine when my Mom taught me how to crochet. An impending trip to Chennai, India inspired me to first try my hand at photography, and I have found visual inspiration in travel and nature ever since. I am particularly interested in fine details, color, and texture. I look to find beauty in the obscure and reflections of every-day representations of women.
When I am not behind the lens of a camera, I can often be found drinking coffee with my cat, Sabrina, on my lap, a good book in my hand and my head in the clouds dreaming about becoming a librarian. Or I am watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
